In a nutshell, my whole getting to know about Microsoft Products was sort of a "Chain Reaction". I started with one event which led to another and another. It all started with the purchase of a Windows Phone. It was a tough decision for me as I already used the Android Platform and was a huge fan of its customisation and also Windows Phone 8 was new at that time. But nonetheless I went for it. And as far as I believe it was the best decision.

To be truthful, it was a low-end phone, just under 10k, and what I got was a blast. It worked so smoothly and elegently. The main reason of which was WP8. The UI was clean and "Live tiles" is pure innovation. All the info without opening a single app is awesome. And its not just WP, the whole Microsoft Application suite follows that design language.

As an initialisation process for using the phone, one needs the Outlook account which I dint have at that time. So I made one and with that one account, you can access everything, from SkyDrive to OneNote and from Virtual Academy to the OfficeSuite. That's cheesy. Then came the face off with OneDrive, Skydrive at that time, and now I use it to store my precious moments on the cloud. Using the windows phone, I came across another product of Microsoft's, OneNote, that saves the notes on the cloud and after onenote, I have not used any other note making app ever since. It's minimalistic design combined with loads of features is plain awesome. Also I was already a fan of Skype.
Using WP, its infographic design style woke up the developer inside me. I wanted to become, and still do, a WP developer. For that road, Microsoft Virtual Academy and channel9 helped me a lot. Learned C# for that purpose from MVA itself, and followed Windows Phone app development tutorials.

Considering all the products, the same design language is found everywhere and it feels like each application is a part of a big single ecosystem and I feel that's the best part about using Microsoft services, "wherever you go, you feel at home".

That's my story.

And the matter regarding what will I do an a MSA for the society is concerened, I think this blog, my story, is the first attempt in that direction. This story can motivate others. I took a risk of buying a WP and see how it paid off.
Also, there are still a lot of people who are not aware of Microsoft Technologies, so making them realise what they are missing would be another task.
How this can be done is easy enough for me as this task, I can say, is embedded in my schedule. Its a regular habit for me to talk to my peers about the latest trends in technology and now provided with the platform as big as MSA, I can upthrust my efforts to more and more people. So I consider myself as the best candidate for being an MSA.

Thats me signing off for now.
